Anna Karenina

One of my favourite quotes from this book. Seems harsh on the surface, but if you put aside your emotions and listen objectively, you’ll find the truth in it. Nothing in life comes easy. No goal, no change, no vision. You want to change your life, you have to be willing to sacrifice. You want to change the world, YOU need to do the work.

And if you want to take it in context with the book,

There’s always more that can be done. Life is ever moving; it isn’t a stagnant thing. That means you will never reach a point where you won’t have anything to do. Even if you have more than you need and accomplished all that you wanted to, I challenge you to look beyond yourself and I’m guaranteeing you that you will find something that needs to be done.
